About Sarah DeParis

As a child, my loves were drawing and horses (and drawing horses). I took a long detour away from art to become a surgeon and found my way back to a paintbrush after leaving clinical practice.

My years as an oculoplastic surgeon have given me an eye for detail, symmetry, and natural beauty. I marry that attention to detail with a genuine love for my subjects to capture their essence.

When I’m not painting, I’m spending time with my husband, 2 dogs, and horse.
